Jews have suffered
a lot in the long drawn conflict with the Christ’s,
after the crucifixion of the Christ. Judas deceived
Christ and for the mischief of one person millions
of people suffered for no reason of their guilt.
Millions of them were innocent but suffered a
lot. For what purpose? Christ suffered for humanity.
Christ shed his flesh and blood for the sake of
humanity. There was a strong purpose behind the
incredible suffering. But why these millions?
There is no answer. History repeats even today.
These millions have done no crime, neither to
God nor to human beings.
Hitler during the war killed millions of Jews.
He even invented new techniques like using Guillotine,
cutting off their heads, putting them in gas chambers,
suffocating them extremely, with the mind of a
hardened criminal. Millions of children suffered
in this holocaust. What reason can be found out
for imparting such incredible suffering to these
millions? Is he much concerned about Christ? No,
mere sadism. Can they be justified? A lot of suffering
is caused during the massive destruction of Jews
and the Europeans by Nazis which led to the outbreak
of war. Christ emancipated man from the clutches
of the first guilt. But man wanted himself to
be always in the arms of sin, a monster sleeping,
hearing the lullabies, the cries of millions crushed
under the incredible suffering caused. [Des Pres,
1976]
Hitler with his Nazi movement punished millions
of innocent beings. Hitler did all these to take
revenge for the death of Christ. Christ taught
man the lessons of love. He taught them the need
to be love. But Nazis never moved through it.
They had only one mission, that all Jews, whatever
may be the population, even if it comes to millions,
persecute them and that also in the most barbarous
manner. The result was total destruction, no gain,
no loss. What did Nazis gain by imparting incredible
suffering to the Jews? [Langer, 1995]
Why all these people suffer? Why God never saved
them. There is no proper reason for the long drawn
eras of suffering that they have experienced.
They suffer because they have to suffer. They
are fated for it. That long history of conflict
now comes to Israel-Palestine conflict that continues
even today.
No other community has suffered so much as Jews,
in the name of one person. It is simply because
Judas was greedy and for his wickedness, the whole
community suffered. There is no justification
for the sufferings experienced by the Jewish community.
Hitler took the advantage of the wickedness of
the Judas and simply to take revenge for what
he has suffered he persecuted Jews. Simply for
achieving meanest political aims that he indulged
himself in the massive destruction of Jews.
The holocaust caused by Nazis is different from
the holocaust caused by nature in Africa that
killed millions. There was a purpose behind or
we can say a punishment from God, but as for Jews
there is no question of justification. All these
Jews are not responsible for deceiving Christ.
But these Christians have developed an unquenchable
thirst for taking revenge upon them. Christians
wanted to retain the love and devotion to Christ,
to justify crucifixion; they chose it as the most
suitable means.
Jewish history has ever remained a black spot
in the world history especially of Germany. Hitler
and Nazi party never looked for who suffered and
for what purpose. They were adamant on their decision
that whole Jewish population would be counted
down to zero. Nobody ever pondered over whether
it was right or wrong to deny justice to Jews.
[Langer, 1982]
The sufferings were unbearable, small children
were put in the gas chambers, made them suffocate
until they die, breathless. Millions’ heads
were cut off using guillotine; they were made
to do tough jobs, without food and drink, continuously
for hours. They were compelled to work without
any rest and after three or four days, quite worn
out, slowly they will have their last breath.
[Katz, 1992]
Christians showered upon Jews series of horrible
days and nights. Jewish Gods were banned, churches
were demolished and today the population numbers
to a few. The miserable experiences that the Jews
have suffered are not justifiable.
Why should the whole community suffer in the
name of one person? These sufferings are inflicted
by human beings and not by God. Nazis used crucifixion
of Christ just as a mask for persecuting Jews.
The persecution of Jews tells the history of the
bloodshed and war and it is the most sadistic
and horrible period in the history of European
countries. Germany with Hitler was bound to make
bloody history. During the war Hitler remained
on one side and on the other side all other European
countries. Hitler was very much confident that
he can defeat any other country independently.
Hitler never thought of why he launched such a
bloody revolution in the history of Germany. For
what purpose he made millions of people suffer
for no reason of their guilt at all. The religious
feelings were much tarnished during the war. They
were called as deceivers, blamed for the persecution
of Christ. The whole world looked upon them as
third rate criminals. The agony and pain that
they have to suffer is endless. Even in literature
as Shakespeare’s character, Shylock, the
Jews have always been considered as symbolic of
as having greed for wealth. They always had the
picture of greedy vultures, in the form of money
lenders. They never had a good position in society,
always considered as individuals of second quality.
Many examples can be cited from literature as
well as history that give glimpses of the agonies
suffered by Jews.
The humanitarian approach has never been adopted
in the case of Jews. They have been given the
harshest treatment that the world has ever seen.
The whole Christian community should feel themselves
to be ashamed of what they have done to Jews.
The Jewish community should emerge itself from
the world of suffering, raise the question to
humanity as why they have been made to suffer
for no fault on their part, simply because they
are born in a community, from which one person
projected himself to be a deceiver, while all
others were innocent, guiltless in nature, what
happened to them is unforgettable and undeniable.
Those who caused this can not be justified. Time
may punish them for these unjustifiable deeds.
That the curses of these millions may not fall
on them, that we can hope so, let they be redeemed
of their sins. [Langer, 1995]
